30 Day Challenge
Extra Stride For The Bride
With my wedding day around the corner, I can’t think of a better time in my life that now to challenge myself and get in the best shape possible
My 30 Day Challenge Goal:
Run a 20 Minute 5 Km
With my wedding day around the corner, I can’t think of a better time in my life than now to challenge myself and get in the best shape possible.
I’ve never been a confident person and being the center of attention is NOT my forte, so as the big day approaches a whole new level of anxiety will likely kick in to my already anxious nature. I’ve found over the last two years since joining Fit Happens that exercising is so important for my mental well-being. Therefore, this challenge will be both mentally and physically rewarding come the wedding day!
My support system throughout my challenge will be critical to my success. The men and woman at Fit Happens, my sister (who has always been my biggest cheerleader), my fiancé and Jenn will all be individuals I will rely heavily on in the coming weeks.
There are four areas that my challenge will focus on – diet, arms, abs and overall leaning out!
Amanda Galavan, Carter Chomyn, Jenn Hanson

Another week has come and gone and I am only 23 days away from being a MRS.! It’s been another busy week, but I was able to get some much needed R&R this past Canada Day long weekend and I am ready to take on the final week of my challenge! My fastest 5km run this...
Week 2 of my challenge is complete! Sometimes I can’t believe I am only half way done and at other times I feel as though I just started! It’s been a roller-coaster of a week but I am quite proud of how I did. Here’s a little update in all areas of my challenge. Diet...
To say that this was a goal smashed is a major understatement: This is going to be a long post so bear with me. A year a half ago I was in an awful place (and had been for a while) and so I started to ask for something different for myself and somehow it started to...
